Communications with Charles Edward Lincoln, III are fraught with unusual characteristics. Those who know him discover to their chagrin what they thought was a private correspondence can be broadcast to everyone Charles knows if he thinks it is interesting or has some other reason for ccing others in his circles.
Unfiled legal papers are included in these broadcasts.
Also, Charles moves from his Charming Mode to Ugly and Threatening with little or no warning, threatening to sue clients and others when they ask him questions about his practice.
Below is a chronology, which will grow as more come in, of emails and TEXTs made available to us from individuals recently involved with Charles. Others mentioned may also be involved either directly or peripherally.
These individuals are:
Michael Mastoris, a Doctor of Chiropractic from New Jersey who retained Charles to help him retain his vacation home in Mantoloking on the Jersey Shore for the sum of $10,000, and $10,000 for his main residence, for a total of $20,000. This was paid in full by mid 2012. Charles kept asking for money, however. Eventually Mastoris paid over $60,000.
The agreement included a Trust which would own the assignment of rights Lincoln said was necessary for him to work on the case. Charles always told him he would always be in his control no matter what the paperwork said.
The Trust was never set up by Lincoln, as agreed opening up the possibility for Lincoln to claim ownership of the Mantoloking house, which he did in May of 2014. This has since been challenged by Mastoris using his New Jersey attorney.
Michael Santomauro is a publisher in New York who met Charles through an organization to which both of them belong, Institute for Historical Review. Charles had never met Santomauro when he asked Santomauro to let him stay with him in his NY apartment in February, 2014. Santomauro agreed and Charles was there for about a week.
Then, in late May he again asked Santomauro if he could come stay and tried to persuade him to trade legal services for rent. Since Santomauro did not want to litigate anything, especially not to revisit his recently finished divorce, he refused but allowed Charles to stay on for a few days when he returned home to North Carolina.
Because Santomauro learned Charles has a history of establishing residency rights as soon as legally possible Santomauro decided to give up his apartment and move the contents to his home on a lake in North Carolina in early June, 2014.
Charles stole thousands of dollars in books and other property before leaving the Santomauro apartment attempting to characterize these as his own property, an assertion refuted by the personnel from the moving company and documentation of purchase by Santomauro.
Dara Bloom is an attorney licensed to practice law in Texas who agreed to assist Lincoln for court appearances for a fee of $10,000 a month. This ended because she was never paid.
Alan Martin retained Lincoln for help in keeping his house, paying $3,000 as the whole fee. Lincoln did nothing on the case but demanded to be paid more.
Peter Milano retained Lincoln to collect $25,000 he was owed, paying Lincoln $10,000 in several installments for the one time fee. He learned from the judge it was inappropriate to sue until he had tried to collect the money using the usual channels, which would have cost him nothing.
Dennis Hilton owns the St. Charles Guest House, a Bed and Breakfast where Charles lived in New Orleans for a year and a half. Hilton was not a client.
Melinda Pillsbury-Foster was asked by Lincoln to help him assist clients in keeping their homes. She agreed to loan the enterprise a website she owned, Homeowners Justice, and act as webmaster, for which she would be paid. Money would be received via Paypal so a proper accounting could be made and expenses covered. No accounting could be made because Charles routinely hid payments, which he covertly requested be made directly to him without the knowledge of anyone else involved.
Melvene Lynn Kennedy was originally a client brought in by Homeowners Justice. Lincoln cut a deal with her for cash, again ignoring the agreement on which the use of the site and services rested.
Later, Lincoln performed more work for Kennedy who is now acting as his agent for renting out the Mastoris Shore Home, for which Mastoris receives no income.
Patti Faulder is a real estate agent in New Orleans contacted by Lincoln to assist him in purchasing a property there.
Amalia Liana Thanou is, according to Charles Lincoln, a Greek film starlet who came to Hollywood to work in American movies. No actress named Amalia Liana Thanou could be found but a Greek actress by the name Liana Thanou is listed as having worked in Hollywood in the 1980s and this site, in Greek, may refer to her.
This is what is listed on multiple sites, "Liana Thanou is an actress, known for The Rape of a Nun (1983), Fylakes anilikon (1982) and Hooligans - Kato ta heria ap' ta niata! (1983)."
